On ThanksGiving Weekend October 12, 2003 - the Pink drain connection was installed. This was the last drain to be completed for the four year old approved drains project. Thank you to Sylvia for giving us permission to run the main drain down the edge of the Farm property. During the rainy winter months the drains were tested, and CWB property owners along the perimeter of the farm were dry. Yeah! |

Hank's Backhoe was pressed into service and the pipe was laid and the covered into the trenches in one day. Thanks to the following team members: Jim Ramsay, Rick Reitenback, Donn Aven, Peter Aven, John Bordingnon, Brian Brackman, Kevin Thompson, Fred Culbert, Bob Culbert. Fences were put back on the farm on subsequent weekends, along with seeding of the pasture. Still to happen for the completion of this project is to cover the concrete road in front of Sylvia's Farm where we dug up the road to lay down the pipe. A big thanks to all. Bob Culbert is to be thanked for the completion of the seeding of grass, and picking up stones in the farm's pasture. Thank you Bob. |
